Welcome to Windmill Sound - Edinburgh's boutique studio.

We have excellent equipment housed in a small space with a well-treated acoustic.

The Recording Studio has highly qualified and experienced staff, not just technicians but musicians - so you will notice the difference.

Windmill Sound is situated 20 minutes drive south of Edinburgh in Newtongrange, near Dalkeith and suitable for travel from Edinburgh, the Lothians, Borders and anywhere in Scotland in reach of the Edinburgh City Bypass or the A7. See the Contact page for maps, directions and bus routes.

Windmill Sound Recording Studios Edinburgh offers a full music production service to aspiring bands and musicians from singer-songwriters to bathroom divas, even karaoke singers or as a gift idea for that special occasion.

Windmill Sound takes on only a limited number of recording and production projects and is then devoted to them, so that you always feel that we have invested in your music.
